About Us
The Lucky Trappers are a trio from the Fraser Valley that play a variety of Canadian fiddle music. Coming from different musical backgrounds, players Audrey, Sarah, and Emily blend their specialties to create a unique fusion of feet tapping tunes.
Inspired by the powerful rhythmic fiddle music of a Cape Breton kitchen party and the lively dance tunes of French Canadian and Old Time Fiddle music, Emily and Sarah harmoniously combine their fiddles to play the melodies with Audrey adding in the harmony with the guitar and drum. Audrey and Emily are competitive Irish dancers and have been known to dance a reel or two in a performance. Audrey, Sarah, and Emily use their different backgrounds to produce a truly one-of-a-kind music experience.

Sarah Adlem
Sarah is a violinist from Mission, BC. She has been playing the violin for over 12 years and has most notably played with the Trinity Western University. Although she started playing primarily classical music, she found a love for fiddle music after going to Gavin Lake Fiddle Camp and joining the West Coast Fiddlers as a teenager. Her time in the BC interior has developed her love of Old Time Fiddle music and that has been incorporated into her fiddling. Attending different music camps also has influenced her guitar playing and is known to pick up Audrey’s guitar and play it during performances. From her playing with the West Coast Fiddlers, Trinity Western University, and now The Lucky Trappers, Sarah has performed across Canada and the interior of British Columbia, as well as parts of the United States of America.
